... I am extremely anxious around people most of the
time, and oftentimes my thoughts are a hell of a lot more coherent
and meaningful than the words that come out of my mouth. I am a
long-time agnostic and secular humanist, a fledgling
Buddhist, a
supporter of animal rights and (perhaps
consequently?) a vegetarian
. But
that's all irrelevant because I just started law school so they tell me I won't
have time for any of that. It's okay, though, because I'm hell-bent
on doing some kind of public interest law (probably focusing on
domestic
violence or crime victim advocacy) so
you can still talk to me because I am not exchanging my soul for a
law degree
. If
you don't identify yourself the chances of me answering back are
extremely, extremely low even if I'm at my computer [though I'm
also often not, so don't take it personally if you do say who you
are and I still don't answer]. I am far too easily irritated to
talk to everyone without getting to at least try screening out the
morons...
